The objective of this assignment focuses on seamless integration of using 3D models and its environment in the use of a visual artwork in a form of a movie poster. Therefore I’ve chosen one of the most popular movies in 2015 as it captured my heart. I took up the challenge since there are more than 11 characters to be done. Much time were spent on this project, we had to do the hair, illustration of the face and body and if there’s clothes, we have to create the texture. However everything must stay its truest to the lego form. Hence some simplification is necessary whilst others were exaggerated.
Nevertheless, all the time spent on this project is worthwhile because I enjoyed seeing how everything morphed so well from one point to another. From a simple sphere, with just a little tweak here and there and a wonderful hair is formed. Therefore I truly enjoyed this project as it opened my eyes to how everything is possible, nothing is impossible.
This is how the 3D lego was planned out. We don't simply charge and go do the work but plan what actions we want to do on the certain object first.
