In search of an identity?

Women in Energy Asia

In this project, students are required to brand a non-profit live client, Women in Energy Asia. Basically this identity is towards the unity of the women in the energy sector and the colour itself suggested the femininity as well as passion and warmth of the women. Moreover, the circle with the W is a symbolism of the women. It shows that the women are very positive and they will continue to strive in the energy sector, they are not confined in the circle. This is because in the male-dominant energy sector, women are poorly represented, hence it is to show that women are able to break free from the stereotypes too.

Initially the beginning of the work start with a simple keyword, "energy". Hence we can see that there are a lot usage of green, bolts symbol, and lightbulbs. It is only till later that the red circle incorporate in.
